McAlister’s Deli is moving to Fort Worth! Yay!!! There will be two new restaurants at the end of August. To celebrate its Fort Worth debut, the restaurant located near the Texas Christian University campus will be giving out $100 gift cards to the first 50 people in line.
The TCU location will open its doors on Monday, August 27th at 10:30 a.m. In addition to handing out free gift cards, the new outpost, located at 3053 South University Drive, will show its Horned Frog support by placing the TCU logo on its iconic McAlister’s Deli Famous Sweet Tea cups.
The other location will open in The Village of Camp Bowie at 6333 Camp Bowie Blvd and is scheduled to open August 24th. (The gift card promotion is valid at the TCU location only.)

I love this place! The obsession started in Odessa TX years ago.. then one opened close to me on Addison… I outgrew Addison and left with a broken heart .. On my first day of college in 1987 at Mississippi State University my Mother took me to eat here in my new college town of Starkville Mississippi ! It was a weekly event at the least for my 6 years there
(the name was actually The Bulldog Deli ) but the great food is still the same. I always get a turkey sandwich, unsweetened iced tea, and chips with a side of honey mustard to dip in. The amazing cheesecake is a sometimes treat 
Oh to be 18 years old again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the throwback for this 40 something. Looking forward to the Ft Worth location

McAlister's is so great! The large tea they give each person – not medium, not small – large evertime.
